INTRODUCTION
Kangaroo Island is the third largest island in Australia, located just off the coast of South Australia, 110 km (70 miles) south-west of Adelaide, and easily accessible by ferry or plane. It is a mix of small, but attractive, townships and fascinating wildernesses available for you to experience and enjoy.
This is a wonderful place to explore and see some of Australia's wildlife in its natural environment. It takes more than a couple of days to see everything on the island, so if you are short on time, find the places that interest you first, or take a week to relax, unwind, and explore.
