Kampala, Uganda Travel Guide

Kampala is the capital and largest city in Uganda. With safe streets and friendly, welcoming people it makes a great change from other African capitals.

Known to have excellent Ice-cream, stopping off at one of the cities many Ice-cream shops is a must! With a vibrant night life, there is an array of bars from local dives, an Irish bar called 'Bubbles O Learys',cool outdoor hangouts such as 'Steakout' and clubs such as 'Rouge'.

There is loads to do in the city from visiting the National Museum, the Kasubi tombs, the National theatre and the brilliant Kampala Market and Craft markets.

For something a little different organize a visit to Sanyu Babies Home where you can spend the day volunteering with orphaned babies.
