Short for Kaufhaus De Westens, Or, the Shopping Center of the West, is one of the largest department stores in the world. Located in the west of Berlin?, on the Kurfurstendamm? shopping strip, the Ka-De-We sells wares from the world's top designers, as well as hard to find imported items. Organized by floor, there are enourmous areas devoted entirely to clothing, accessories, entertainment, crystal, and cosmetics, as well as the world famous sixth floor which houses thousands of meats, cheeses, wines, beers, liquors, and other products from across Europe and the globe.
