Jinja,Uganda Travel Guide

The city of Jinja lies in the south east of Uganda, 54 miles (87 km) north east of the capital, Kampala. It is located on the shores of Lake Victoria, near to the source of the White Nile river.

Within Uganda, Jinga is famous for brewing Nile beer, which is best enjoyed at sundown while enjoying views of the Bujagali falls or Lake Victoria.

Attractions in the area include White water rafting down class 5 rapids, kayaking the Nile, a Bungee jump near the falls or taking a ride on a Boda Boda scooter with a local guide.
