Innsbruck Austria

INTRODUCTION

Innsbruck is the capital city of Tyrol, a federal state of Austria in the west of the country. Located in a broad valley between high mountains, this city offers wonderful scenery. A renowned winter sports center, Innsbruck has hosted the Olympic Winter Games twice, in 1964 and 1976. The Olympic ski jump is available for travellers to visit. You can even go to the starting line of the jump and experience the pre-jump jitters athletes face before an event. It also gives a scenic view of Innsbruck nestled beneath the breathtaking Alps. The city is an incredible place to explore and you will discover art treasures and buildings such as the Golden Roof, the Hofburg, and Ambras castle.
