Hollywood Florida

INTRODUCTION

Hollywood is part of Broward County, Florida and was founded in 1925. Between 1950 and 1960, the city experienced a rapid growth, becoming the tenth largest city in the state. Downtown Hollywood is a nice boulevard, with stores, restaurants, and cafes everywhere (besides Aventura Mall is pretty near by car).

ATTRACTIONS

Downtown Hollywood is a nice spot that offers a diverse restaurant selection (Japanese, Argentinian, Brazilian, Italian food, and more), cafes, unique stores, and brick-lined sidewalks. The Artspark at Young Circle provides a green space, which has won awards for its unique designing features. Always check for special events such as concerts, festivals, and different art and culture activities that take place here often.

RESTAURANTS

Argentango Grill is a delicious restaurant and stake house that serves wonderful Argentinian and Latin plates. Cancun Mexican Grill has great Mexican food, and amazing 'burritos'. Shushi Room and Nakorn Thai Restaurant and Suhi Bar has Asian food and good sushi. Pizza Rustic is another local of the localy famous franchise with remarkable prices and tasteful flavors. For dessert go to Amazing Chocolates, Dolce Vita Gelato Cafe, or Harrison Cafe and Deli among others.

NIGHTLIFE

Spice Resto Lounge is a totally Brazilian spot in Hollywood. Good music along with great food makes it the perfect place to have a few drinks and appetizers. Sosta is also an option if you want to have some drinks. Coyote's Bar is a simple option to have some beers under the proper American style bar.
