The Henry Ford Museum makes learning about history fun as I recall the many field trips, year
after year that our school would take us on to
explore the many exhibits on display here. There
is an entire showroom of automotive history along
with a floor dedicated totally to aviation. There
is a number of presidential vehicles and limosines
which are now property to the Henry Ford and a favorite for the tourists to admire.
Way down in the basement is my favorite attraction which resembles a scene out of yesteryear with cobblestone streets and gas lights
among tiny stores. It reminds me of a scene out of the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" and I can stand right there in a time past.
