Grenada Beaches

The 45 beautiful beaches in Grenada are easily one of the island's most attractive features. Most visitors come to the island to enjoy nothing else. All of the beaches on the island are officially public property, which means that the public must have access to it regardless of where its location. The one downside to Grenada beaches is that the locals are always trying to sell you something. Whether you're sunbathing or attempting a leisurely stroll along the water, you're certain to be approached by one of the natives with wares to sell. But if you're polite and signal "no thanks" they usually go away without incident.

Grand Anse Beach

Grand Anse beach has a lot to offer--from water sports and scuba diving shops to the vendors market and several good restaurants. So if you are looking for a beach with lots of attractions this is the one for you!

Morne Rouge Beach

The water is fairly shallow, so it is always a little warmer here than on other beaches. This beach is usually very calm, so it is ideal you are vacationing with children. There are several trees to provide shade; beach chair rentals are also available. There is also a restaurant and hotel on the beach.

Best Snorkeling Beaches

If you are looking for a good snorkeling site close to the shore then check out the beaches near the Aquarium Restaurant or Rex Grenadian Hotel.
