Gettysburg Pennsylvania

Gettysburg is also located in Southern Pennsylvania. It is perhaps the most famous town in Pennsylvania, as the Civil War was fought on a large battlefield in Gettysburg.

Today you can actually visit the battlefield and see reenactments. The price for adults to watch the reenactments is $22.00 and for children $12.00.

A must-see is the "Lincoln Room Museum?" where President Lincoln wrote up the Gettysburg Address. Another place to visit is, General Lee's Headquarters? where General Lee made plans for battle. A few other places are the Lincoln Train Museum?, Soldier's National Museum?, The National Civil War Museum?, National Civil War Wax Museum?, Hall of Presidents.

There also are some nice little Taverns to stop and eat at, and nice little Bed and Breakfast places. It is a very historic little town!
