Friday HarborFriday Harbor is a charming area that stretches only one square mile. This traffic-light-free zone is ideal for travelers and pedestrians. This harbor happens to be the place of arrival for visitors coming off the mainland of Washington. RESTAURANTS Rocky Bay Cafe: This diner serves up food that is very popular amongst the locals. What are they best known for? Their home made donuts that go for only 80 cents each! Steps Wine Bar and Cafe: Steps is definitely one of the most popular eateries in Friday Harbor. Innovative dishes come out of the exhibition kitchen and into the warmly-decorated dining room. The lunch menu offers dishes like Salmon Potato Bisque and a Lamb "Sloppy Joe," while the dinner menu changes it up with Eggplant and Goat Cheese "Cannelloni" and Roasted Duck Breast. Customized dinners are available, which are usually five courses that fit your likes, dislikes, and dietary restrictions, if any. Five wines are also appropriately paired with the five different courses. This is a great option for a celebration like an anniversary or a birthday party.
