Little did I know that my first major vacation
would be to the most beautiful resort in the world! Befitting for a king and possibly the reason that millionaire Howard Hughes chose this
place for his final days.
I decided on Acalpulco for our honeymoon and it
was my spouse who made reservations at the Princess. Within the first day we were made aware
that certain floors were barred to the public, later we would find out that Howard Hughes was the
reason for the ban. The staff did everything they
could to keep Howard a secret but the buzz among
the tourists was sure and the heavy security enabled him to have a very private stay.
The Acapulco Princess captivated this young
couple in more fascinating ways. Designed like a
modern day pyramid the lobby bore the upmost class. There is no roof so you can look up and
view the stars in the Heavens in the evening time.
I felt like I was in a dream which I never wanted
to awake from. There is a befitting staircase
done in red velvet carpeting where I posed for
a memorable picture.
Five swimming pools are part of the package for
your convenience at this hotel. Very full and
beautiful gardens lie entrance to them along with
a wooden bridge. My favorite being the swimming
pool with the waterfall which hides the snackbar
underneath. Sitting on the bar stools with your thighs just below the cool water reminds you to
make the most of this pleasant eden.
Meals are offered at the different restaurants
included in this fine resort. Evening bringing
the very best with serenades included.
Apart from the resort, out by the ocean, there
are scores of peddlers where you can bargain for
pottery, clothing and souvenirs at incredible prices. Even little children are pushing products
to help meet the family expenses.
