Fair Oaks CaliforniaThis city is named after an old Mexican land grant on the north bank of the American River. It is also the heart of the San Juan district. Fair Oaks, Calif., is located in Sacramento County. Located near the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, this community has more than 123 acres of parkland including nine developed parks. Folsom Lake is wonderful for hiking, jogging, camping, picnicking, horseback riding, water sking and boating.
