ATTRACTIONS Hiiumaa Islets Reserve If you are a bird lover, this is surely a sight not to be missed. There are several small islands off Hiiumaa that have a massive bird population, where you can see over 110 different species that flock here throughout the year. Some of these include avocets, eider ducks, and goosanders. Hiiumaa is also one of the stopping points for the swans whilst on their migratory path. If you are more into the plant life, you will discover over 600 different varieties of plants. Tallinn Discover Tallin's Old Town, originally built in medieval times. This town still survives, and is a testament to the time it was built. Walk down the old cobblestone roads, check out the turrets and spires, and have a wonderful day imagining what it was really like to live back in the 14th and 15th centuries. Architecture & Arts Centre of Estonia The Estonian Museum of Architecture was once the cities great saltcellar. This beautifully restored limestone warehouse, with its massive space, is now host to a combination of many fine architecture exhibitions. Peter the Great Home Museum In Kadriorg Park is the cottage Peter the Great lived in when he was visiting Tallinn. He stayed in the cottage whilst he was waiting for his magnificent palace to be built, and the cottage still originally furnished from its time, stands today.
