A huge recreational park, El Dorado Park is the perfect spot to lay out a picnic blanket, grill up some burgers, play soccer on the spacious lawns, or toss a game of Frisbee golf on the disc golf course. Other sports facilities include tennis, volleyball, basketball courts, a baseball field, an archery range, an 18-hole golf course, and a skate park. Those with fishing licenses can fish in three man-made lakes stocked with largemouth bass, carp, trout, and more. The park has a nature center, where you can hike one of the easy 1-mile and 2-mile dirt trails, or the paved ¼ mile handicap-accessible trail, and admire Long Beach wildlife.
