Egeskov Castle has what we all want to see. We have all built our sandcastles surrounded by the legendary moat and have all wished we could build the drawbridge to go with it. Well dream no further! This Renaissance Castle has them both! Built in 1554 in the middle of a small lake, Egeskov rests on a foundation of thousands of upright oak trunks. For those who enjoy mazes there's a 200-year-old bamboo maze to wander around in.
