The outside of Dublin Castle may look like any state building, but the inside is a work of art. Standing on the foundations of what was once a Viking fortress, Dublin Castle is now the site of Irish business and government, acting as a stay for foriegn leaders. The tour of this Castle will take you through the history of its construction from its old Viking foundations still partailly standing to the state apartments that were once the site of British rule in Ireland. It is an ornately decorated place that shows a progression in Irish history and the fashions of centuries past.
