Downtown Disney is a shopping district in the surrounding area of Disney World which is divided into three sections: Downtown Disney West Side, Downtown Disney Marketplace, and Pleasure Island. It contains many shops including a Virgin Megastore, quality restaurants such as Wolfgang Puck's, and entertainment venues such as the House of Blues, Cirque du Soleil, and AMC Theaters. Pleasure Island is a great place for adults. The nightclubs provide Disney with a twist for those of an older age and are a great new way to enjoy the park. Bring some cute clothes and hit the bars!
Downtown Disney also has many Disney-themed shops. One of the most unique is Disney's Design-a-Tee: a t-shirt and hat design store where you can write text and pick what pictures you would like featured on your souvenir. The LEGO Imagination Center has life size LEGO creations of the Lockness Monster, sea creatures, dinosaurs, and currently Star Wars characters. The Disney Pin Traders headquarters is also located Downtown, where they have the largest selection of pins.
There are a variety of restaurants for visitors to choose from whether you are in the mood for seafood at Fulton's Crab House, a tropical adventure at the Rainforest Cafe, or entertainment at Planet Hollywood.
