Douz

Douz is an oasis in the Desert of Tunisia and home to Mherazig Berbers who live a nomadic life in the desert.

Although the town itself is not a tourist attraction and is very traditional with local festivals and ceremonies taking place year round, Douz is the ideal starting point for touring the desert.
