Disney World of Florida contains not only a Magic Kingdom, but also Disney's Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney-MGM studios. In the surrounding area, there is the Downtown Disney shopping center, as well as many Disney themed hotels and resorts. Walt Disney World Resort at a GlanceThis famous resort opened on October 1, 1971. It has four parks, where the Magic Kingdom receives 16.2 million visitors per year.
