Dahlak Archipelago

These are true desert islands located off the coast of Massawa in Eritrea.

To get here organize a baot trip including guide, enough food and water for the duration of your stay and suitable snorkelling or diving equipment.

Come prepared as only the main island has fresh water and rain water is rare. The sea is like a bath to swim in with temperatures reaching highs of 37'c.

The islands are surrounded by magnificent coral cliffs as well as stunning and colorful coral reefs that line the coast. Look out for ana rray of tropical fish and even sea turtles along the sea shore.
