Having been born in Tassie, and having lived there for the majority of my life...I'm a good person to give a slight overview of my beautiful state.
There are so many gorgeous sights to see in Tassie. You may not know this, but we have fantastic beaches up and down the East Coast: Wineglass Bay, The hazards and Bicheno to name a few. They are great for relaxing in the sun and are also seen as remarkable camping destinations.
Now, if you love big cities and the finer, fancier things in life, this probably is not the best place for you. However, if you love quiet cities, bushwalking, going to the beach, having a drink with a few mates at the local pub, then Tassie is just the spot for you. Might I also say that it isn't bad for a little bit of a shop as well.
The city is quaint. Everything is close together: the shops/restaurants and all nightlife. It is a nice simple village in which to live and visit. I certainly would recommend it to anyone.
