Chattanooga Tennessee

We love to go to the Aquarium? in Chattanooga. There is just so much to see and do there. Out in the front, there are horse and buggy rides and the Duck boat rides. Also, in front of the Aquarium is the water area that the kids can play in. They have sprinklers and a small running river that the kids can play in, in the summer months. Be sure to bring along extra clothing. Inside the first Aquarium building, you go through the freshwater rivers and streams. You can also watch the river otters playing, they are just such beautiful animals.

The next Aquarium building offers saltwater creatures and a beautiful butterfly garden. If you have never seen the spider crabs, that is a must, they look like aliens, very weird looking.

After visiting the Aquarium, you can go catch an Imax show or walk to the Vaudeville Cafe? (interactive murder mystery dinner theater). My family loves to go there. You can also walk to the Tennessee River and take a beautiful stroll along the edge. The Creative Discovery Museum? is also within walking distance. It is a hands-on discovery play place for kids and the young at heart, every child will find something to do and so will you.

There is quiet a variety of eateries close by. Many museums are within walking distance, and shopping is close by. There is a walking bridge that crosses the river that is a great place for a walk over evening.

Across the bridge is Cooledge Park?. It is a nice place to take a picnic and let the kids play in the water.

Also don't forget about Rock City? and Ruby Falls?!! Everyone will find something that they love in Chattanooga!
