Cardiff Wales

INTRODUCTION

Cardiff is the capital and the largest city of Wales. It is located in the south of Wales.

HISTORY

Cardiff was a small town until it became a major port for coal transport. It was named a city in 1905 and became the capital of Wales in 1955.

ATTRACTIONS

Cardiff Castle-This popular tourist attraction houses a museum.

St David's Hall-Live entertainment, exhibits, and other attractions are held in this national concert hall and conference center.

Cathays-This is a historic part of Cardiff built in 1875.

St David's Hotel & Spa-This five star hotel is located on the Cardiff Bay waterfront. It is only a five minute drive to downtown Cardiff.
