INTRODUCTION
A landlocked country in West Africa, Burkina Faso borders six countries: Mali to the north, Niger to the east, Benin to the south east, Togo and Ghana to the south, and the Ivory Coast to the south west.
Despite being one of the poorest and least developed counties in Africa and the world, Burkina Faso is still a fascinating place to visit.
The capital city is the brilliantly named Ouagadougou, and has plenty of attractions along with friendly locals to keep you happy for a few days.
Other attractions include the Gorom Gorom Market, Sindou Peaks, the mosque in Bobo Dioullasso, and the magnificent Karfiguela Waterfalls.
