In Midtown Manhattan, right behind New York Public Library, is Bryant Park. This park features gardens, a promenade and a large lawn. There is also a cafe with patio dining and a carousel. In the winter, the pond turns into an ice skating rink where people come to enjoy outdoor skating. There is also many other events that the park holds through out the year. In the summer, the park has a film festival with free outdoor movies every Monday. There is also a summer concert series with famous acts every Friday morning. Other events include music and broadway performances throughout the year as well as free yoga classes.
