Brooklyn MichiganMichigan International Speedway Michigan International Speedway gave my spouse something to brag about to his friends and peers at work! For less than $100, you can be a Petty, as in 'Richard Petty,' and spend the day a driving a nascar around these famous tracks for a couple laps. If you really want to experience this fantasy, be sure you don't drink! First, you must sit through a few lessons, which includes a movie and question and answer session. Next you get all dressed up in the racing suit and helmet. My spouse's car got up to 186 MPH, which made him more thrilled than I've seen in a long time... and, to mark the event, they gave him a wall plaque! We brought our grandsons, because MIS offers kids a quick tour around the tracks in their van. You can also buy used tires from the cars for $5.00 and, of course, the boys had to get one to bring home.
