This museum houses works ranging from Ancient Greek, Roman and Egyptian pieces to modern day masterpieces. The most fantastic item in the Museum is the Rosetta stone, the ancient Egyptian artifact which was instrumental in helping archeologists understand the hieroglyphic language. Make sure to also visit the Reading Room, which is situated in the Great Court of the museum. The room was moved from the British Library, and it houses countless rare books and have been used by many famous people throughout history.
