Potsdam was once ruled by the Prussian Kings. A short drive from Berlin will get you there - if architecture is your thing, you won't be disappointed. Check out its famous Baroque and neo-Classical buildings, the Sans-Souci castle and park, the Orangery castle, temples and pavillions.
