BongeunsaBongeunsa is a Buddhist temple founded in 794 BCE. It is located on the slope of Sudo Mountain. Bongeunsa is one of the few surviving Buddhist temples from the Joseon Dynasty, when Buddhism in Korea was repressed. Visitors can have a unique experience here, living as monks for a few hours in the "Temple Stay Program."
