Introduction

Birmingham is the second largest city in England (London being the first) and is a 2 hour and 15 minute drive from London. The Mercer Index of standards of living ranked the chilly, north-west English city as the 55th most livable city in the world (in 2007). Fly into London and take a train up, or fly directly into Birmingham Airport and explore the city.
