Belgium Travel Guide

INTRODUCTION

The relaxed, friendly country of Belgium has something for everyone. Families can enjoy the region of Wallonia, which contains children's museums and theme parks. For the more adventurous types, the Belgian countryside offers mountain climbing and kayaking, among other activities. It is often considered the crossroads of Western Europe. Brussels is home to NATO and the European Union.

Binche is another great place to visit, especially for a few days in Feburary when the town turns back the clock to the 15th century for Carnival de Binche. Some of Belgium's best-known products are chocolate, beer, and maybe diamonds and art.
