Bedford is a small historic town in southern Pennsylvania. Unlike other towns where historic sites have now been torn down. History is well preserved. Where the Bakery is located was once known as the Espy House where George Washington actually stayed. They are restoring the old Bedford Springs Hotel where many US Presidents once stayed. It is also known for its healing springs. We have the old bedford village where reenactors show us what life was like back in colonial times. It costs $8 to tour the village. When walking through the village you feel like you are actually back in time. It is a very educational place to visit for those who are interested in history.
