Bazaruto Achipelago Travel Guide

The Bazaruto Archipelago is a group of 5 tropical islands located off the northern coast of Mozambique.

The area offers unspoiled coral pink beaches, World Class deep sea fishing, salt water fly fishing, scuba diving and snorkeling.

The Bazaruto Archipelago is a protected National Park - the islands are pristine and undeveloped - no roads, no shops, no tourist attractions - just unbelievable natural beauty!

The largest of the islands, is home to flocks of pink flamingos and the freshwater lakes on the island are home to many large crocodiles.

For birding enthusiasts, approximately 164 different birds have been identified and confirmed on the islands in habitats varying from the coastal dunes, open grasslands and fresh water lakes.
