Basilica Di San Nazaro MaggioreThe Basilica was built by St. Ambrose in 382 on the road that connected Milan to Rome. The church was built on the plan of a Greek Cross, and in 397, when the body of St. Nazarus was discovered, a new apse was created to house his body. The Basilica has some beautiful 15th Century frescoes which are worth the visit.
