INTRODUCTION

Barahona sits three hours driving distance away from Santo Domingo. Its landscape is nothing short of breathtaking, which is likely the reason why tourists visit it. Lakes, mountains, amazing vegetation, and a beautiful coastline are just some of this town's assets. This lovely hidden spot has also the most amazing beaches of in the entire Dominican Republic and wonderful national parks like "National Jaraqua", "Parque Nacioanl Isla Cabritos", and "Parque Nacional Sierra de Baoruco", each one of them with its own lake.
