Augustinerkirche

This 14th century church is located in the Hofburg Complex and once served as the imperial court's parish. Adorned with Baroque antiquities, it was stripped of its embellishments in the 18th century, and the original Gothic style was restored. Inside the Loreto Chapel the actual hearts of the Hapsburg family are contained within urns, which you can see through a window in the door. Both the Chapel of St. George and the Loreto Chapel offer guided tours by reservation only.
