This state is home to Blanchard Springs Caverns, and it is also the first state where diamonds were found naturally. Little Rock is the state capital.

Crater of Diamonds State Park - WOW the name says it all, and now you can legitimately wander the park and prospect for your own natural diamonds.
Canoeing/Rafting/Kayaking - There are miles and miles of wonderful rivers running through this state that offer some truly amazing rafting/canoeing/kayaking adventures. All you have to do is work out which river you want to take, and if you want to go it alone or have a tour guide. Some of those rivers include: Caddo Creek, Cadron Creek, Cossatot River, Crooked Creek, Little Missouri River, Little Red River, Mulberry River, Ouachita River, and the Saline River
Arkansas Hiking Trails If you love the outdoors there are some amazing hiking trails waiting to be blazed by you. There are trails that are designed only for day hiking. Also for the more enthusiastic and more difficult hiking, try the backpacking trails found in the Ozark Highlands and the Ouachita National Recreation areas. Let us not forget the mountain bikers, and if that is your scene, this is a great place for you to explore and test your skills.
