Accra is the capital city and most populous city (about 1 million) in Ghana.
There is loads to do in Accra in the form of sight seeing and attractions. Visit the Perpetual Flame in Revolution square, go to the excellent National Museum and the near by craft markets which are brimming with beautiful hand painting paintings.
The Makola Market, the city’s central market is great to wander around as is Liberation Square, the tropical gardens and a visit to the the grave of Kwame Nkrumah (the first Ghanaian president).
The capital has a huge variety of places to eat from local food cafes, International foods like Chinese, Indian, Lebanese, and French to places that sell fast food such as pizza and burgers.
The night life is also brilliant with clubs, music and atmosphere to suit all tastes.
