Abbey Theatre, Dublin

Founded in the early part of the 20th century, this is one of the prodominant theaters in Ireland. It was founded by Lady Gregory, Edward Martyn and W. B. Yeats and has featured plays by many famous Irish writers such as Samuel Beckett and Brendan Behan. With a wonderful repertoire of shows, it is a stage for the old and new in an intimate cozy setting.
