Čachtice Castle Slovakia

In the 17th century, a mad Hungarian countess named Alžbeta Báthory (also known as Bloody Liz) tortured and murdered more than 600 peasant women at Čachtice Castle (Čachtice hrad), where she was eventually imprisoned.
